Mission & Goal

The mission of The Kid’s Heart Show - presented by the Derek Wiley Agency - is to bring value to young artists and their talents by creating opportunities for them to display their art at events. We elevate their art from a fridge to a museum gallery and celebrate them in the process. Additionally, we give them a chance to

give back to their community by auctioning off the art for local charities.

Our goal is to raise funds through our annual art show to “Love a Room” ($4,000 annual sponsorship) and “Adopt a Room” ($50,000 lifetime sponsorship) at the Ronald McDonald House. These sponsorships transform an aging house into a true home for the 700+ families served each year, ensuring every room stays welcoming, comfortable, and ready for families who need rest and

care the most.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia (RMHC-SWVA) provides a supportive environment for families with seriously ill children receiving medical care. Their mission is to offer a "home-away-from-home," enabling families to stay close to their hospitalized child and access necessary resources.

The Ronald McDonald House in Roanoke, Virginia, features 18 bedrooms with private baths, dining areas, laundry facilities, a playroom, a library, and an outdoor playground. Additionally, the Ronald McDonald Family Room, located on the 14th floor of Carilion Children's Hospital, serves as a respite area for adult family members and guests of hospitalized children.

By alleviating the financial and logistical burdens of lodging and meals, RMHC-SWVA allows families to focus on their child's recovery, fostering a community of support during challenging times.
