Kid's Heart Class Registration

The Kid’s Heart Class is a free, monthly art class designed to give children a welcoming space to create, learn, and express themselves through art. Beginning February 2026, each class will feature guided instruction, provided art supplies, and a supportive environment where kids can build artistic skills, confidence, and community. Classes are held at a rotating selection of venues throughout the Roanoke area and are open to children of all skill levels. Snacks are provided, and participation is always free.

Who Can Register?

The Kid's Heart Class is a free-to-participate event, meant for the whole community, with as wide a variety of participation as possible. We accept children of all ages between 5 and 18. The whole purpose of the show is inclusivity and opportunity for all children. There is no cost to participate in the classes, and we are actively seeking transportation sponsorships to facilitate free transportation to the class venues for anyone who needs it.

How to Register Your Child For a Class

To register, fill out the form on this page with your contact details and your child’s name. You can use the form to select the location and date of the class you want to attend.

Does my child need to participate in the Kid’s Heart Show to attend the class?

No. Participation in the Kid’s Heart Class is not required to participate in the Kid’s Heart Show, and participation in the Kid’s Heart Show is not required to attend the class. The two programs are separate but complementary.

Do parents need to stay during the class?

In most cases, yes. This will depend on the child’s age and the venue. Specific guidelines will be shared with registered families before each class.

What is the capacity of each class?

Each class will have a limit of 20 students, to ensure a positive, hands-on experience for every participant. Once a class reaches capacity, registration will close. Additional dates and future classes will be listed on the Kid’s Heart Show website.
